On October 28, 2026, Amazon introduced five new Alexa devices for the home: Echo Dot, Echo Studio with Home Camera, Echo Time, Alexa Photo Frame, and Echo Show 16. Echo Dot has a built-in smart home hub for the first time, and the eero Wi-Fi extender can add up to 1,000 square feet of coverage to an existing network.
With Echo Studio with Home Camera, users can check a room through the Alexa app. Echo Time is a bedside clock without a camera: it detects when a person is in a light stage of sleep and can wake them 10–60 minutes before the set alarm time. Alexa Photo Frame is a photo frame with built-in Alexa and a 10-inch touchscreen; photos from Amazon Photos sync to it automatically.
Echo Show 16 has a 16-inch Full HD screen and built-in Fire TV. Its camera supports Live View, so users can check a room during the day and at night. All five devices work with the latest version of Alexa. According to Amazon, it supports more natural conversations, asks follow-up questions, and coordinates complex, multi-step requests.
