OpenAI introduces Dots, an agent with its own cloud computer
XORit Editorial · Sources, AI assistance and corrections

On September 29, OpenAI introduced Dots. Powered by GPT-6 Astra, the agent has its own cloud computer and browser and can continue assigned work between conversations.
The announcement shows tested code fixes, revisions to launch materials and draft publications. You can communicate through ChatGPT, Slack and Teams. These are OpenAI examples, not findings from our own testing.
Access is rolling out gradually across eligible plans and regions. Users choose connected applications and permissions. Built-in action checks help supervise work but do not eliminate mistakes.
КСОР АйТи [XORit] has prepared an adapted article under the editorial supervision of Alexey Lovushkin. It covers capabilities, safety, memory and a brief comparison with OpenClaw and Hermes.
