Opera introduced a reimagined version of the Opera Air browser on October 15, 2026. The company describes it as a minimalist browser that displays fewer elements by default.
Widgets, Speed Dial entries, and preset shortcuts have been removed from the start screen. According to Opera, users can add the tools they need back; notifications and promotional suggestions are off by default.
Soundscapes now has four categories, including the new Ambience category with background sounds such as ocean waves and a spring forest. Five tracks have also been added to the browser; one of them, Hyperfocus, is designed as a more energetic track.
The Breaks section offers breathing exercises and neck exercises. The four breathing routines last three to five minutes. There are four neck exercise options, lasting from five to fourteen minutes.
